Patrick Siarry
Professor Patrick Siarry received his PhD in computer science and optimization from the University of Paris VI in 1986 and his Habilitation (Doctor of Sciences) in computer science and optimization from the University of Paris XI in 1994. He previously worked at Électricité de France on the development of analog and digital models for nuclear power plants. Since 1995, he has served as a Professor of Automatics and Informatics at Université Paris-Est Créteil. With 32 years of dedicated academic research, he has achieved prolific scholarly outputs, including 80 international peer-reviewed journal articles, 16 national journal papers, 6 international books, 9 national books, 20 international book chapters, 7 national book chapters, and over 150 conference papers. He has also delivered 21 academic seminar reports and completed 18 internal research reports and 8 internal data center records. As a distinguished expert in the field of metaheuristic optimization, he currently holds an H-index of 65 on Google Scholar.
